"With this dissertation project, I carried out the rigorous analysis guided by a systematic and coherent framework which is derived from an institutional perspective. The tensions between organizations and institutions in China were illustrated by the entrepreneurial innovation strategies, government interventions, and the innovative management practices amid the Chinese cross-border M&A waves. Furthermore, this dissertation project offers important empirical evidence to support the argument that value can be created and captured in the interactions among actors from both public sector and private sector.
